First Order of Business: Community Changes
I'm going to kick everyone out of this community except current reviewers. Commenting will be available to all registered LJ users, and people are free to watch this community for public posts... But I feel that this community should be more of the staff-only place, and the forums are the free-for-all domain. Also, that way we can make "friends only" posts that are directed only to the staff.
So announcing that, the cs_applications community is gone. Go ahead and remove it from your lists.
Second Order of Business: Update Nazi Needed
I am wondering if it would be to our benifit to "hire" a militant bastard(ette) to get us to update regularly again. It would be nice if someone could nag the hell out of us to have at least one update each week.
I'm too soft/busy to fill this position. Any volunteers?
Note: I'm fully aware that the site is down right now (late payment was made...)

So, I thought I'd post my offical um, giving up, of www.godhatesfags.com. I just cannot find a way to put this guy in his place without making my brain explode by constant repetition. If any other reviewer feels that they may be capable of this review without making their head(s) burst, then please feel free to do so.
Now, I'll request the queue, if at all possible. I'd like to move on with this website. On top of that, may I also suggest that everyone review at least one website? Not only are things getting a little too quiet, but some of us call ourselves reviewers and haven't even submitted a site yet for consideration.

The layout is DONE! CSS and markup is all coded, images spliced, and such. All that's left is to update the old code (which desperately needs it) and then put the new layout's markup in the header/footer files. I'll have it up and running by tomorrow for certain.
A word of warning, though: it's very... errrm... "not dark." The color scheme is white, black, and blue--white being the background. Sorry to those who detest white backgrounds (*cough*![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.1) bobette_baa*cough*).
The CSS is ugly! but at least it validates. *shrugs*

While designing the new layout (with the help of pyroraven, of course) I got to thinking...
Maybe we could benifit from some kind of 'advertisement' type thing? Y'know, a banner exchange at the bottom of each page? Non-profit, of course, just to hike up our hits; and nothing that would be sore on the eyes.
Webmasters could exchange banners with us, so we'd advertise their site as long as they put our banner on their website. I'm thinking a 'non-personal site' type of banner exchange though, so we don't have a bunch of morons submitting their silly Geocities pages.
What do you guys think?

It's done, it's done, it's doooooooooone!
Only Anna and I know the password so far (I'll email you guys later) but IT'S DONE!
... except for the widget to upload images, but I'm taking a break and will work on that later.
It's done!
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I just coded the admin panel (in PHP) so you girls (and guy) can add reviews to the site without having the ability to royally fuck up the database.
Things you can do:
Add new reviews.
Edit/update reviews.
Use [quote] [/quote] instead of ugly <font> tags or confusing <span class="reviewee"> tags.
Skip lines in reviews without having to type <br />.
Generate "LiveJournal Friendly" code to update the community with.
Things you'll soon be able to do:
View and edit a dynamic queue. Got that done too.
Generate XHTML code to use on your own websites (if you wish). Done, done
Upload images without having to use FTP, your own servers, or harassing me to upload the images.
Other things
I'm probably going to create an RSS feed for the site, to make reading it easier for some people (not to mention getting promotion!)
Planning on creating unstyled "printer-friendly" versions of reviews.
Thinking about including a link-exchange advertising sort of thing to get promotion.
Definitely going to update the layout... one of these days.
Anybody else have suggestions?

Couple months ago, sirstompsalot was the "honorary bitch" that I let in without proper innitiation based on personal bias. Well, the personal bias still sort of stands, and pretty much everybody here knows him to an extent, but I thought I should probably ASK everybody this time if you'll let him become a reviewer.
